If you'd seen the rumours floating about that 13 Reasons Why's Miles Heizer (aka Alex Standall) and Brandon Flynn (aka Justin Foley) are dating, then we hate to disappoint you but it turns out that's not the case at all.

However, there is at least a little something to cheer you up and it comes in the form what could have been:a clip of Miles and Brandon sharing a load of sweet moments including akiss in a short film they shot together.

It seems that the film, which is called Home Movies,could be what's caused the confusion for fans, but Miles' rep spoke to Page Six to clarify where they stand in a romantic sense, saying: "This is a false report. Miles and Brandon are friends from the show but are not dating."

That said, the movie is still hella cute and documents the pair playing two characters who are falling head over heels in love. The story is juxtaposed with historical soundbytes that illustratethe homophobic nature of society and how its attitudeshave changed somewhat over the years.

Directed by Kevin Rios, the project won an Honorable Mention for the Audience Award at Outfest's Fusion Film Festival, which aims to promote work focused on people of color and LGBT+ issues.

Naturally the kiss has got fans shipping the pair hard (and hey, who are we to deny you that right?), but the film has a moving deeper meaning too:
