Dylan Minnette has hinted that his character in 13 Reasons Why could have a new love interest in the second series of the show after coming to terms with the death of classmate Hannah Baker.

We don’t know an awful lot about what to expect from the second series of the show, but it soundslike Clay Jensen could be set to findlove after patching up his friendship with old palSkye.

In an interview with Seventeen, the 21-year-old actor revealed that his and Hannah’s storyline was pretty much wrapped up at the end of the first series – and that fans shouldn’t expect to see a bunch of flashback scenes involving the pair of them.

"We potentially could see more flashbacks with Clay and Hannah, but what I will say is that I think we learn pretty much almost everything we needed to know about what Clay and Hannah’s relationship was [in season one]. I think that’s pretty clear,” he said.

What we can expect is more retrospective glimpses at Hannah’s relationship with her classmates – alongside a present day storyline of Clay and the rest of the gang finding their feetafter the death of Hannah.

"I can’t say too much, but Skye is still around and in the picture and there’s a chance that her and Clay could be friends or more," Dylan hinted. "That’s something you’ll learn pretty quickly when the season starts. I don’t want to spoil that for you, but she’s around."

This comes after the show's writer Brian Yorkey told THRin May: "One of the things that is a fundamental element of our show is the weaving of past and the present.Hannah's story is still very much not finished. She's an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she's very much still at the centre of it."
