50 Cent Charged With Alleged Domestic Violence, Vandalism

However, rapper has denied reports of his arrest on Twitter...

50 Cent was reportedly charged with domestic violence by the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday (July 3).
The rapper allegedly kicked the mother of his child and destroyed property in her Toluca Lake, California, condo last month.
In a news release obtained by CNN, the L.A. City attorney stated that Fiddy - born Curtis Jackson - faces one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism.

Reports say that police were called to the scene on June 23, where they found broken chandeliers, furniture and clothes strewn all over the floor, along with a broken TV and lamp, but Fiddy was not in sight. The damage is estimated at $7,000.
The prosecutor said in a statement: "During an argument, Jackson allegedly began destroying the female's property. Allegedly when the female locked herself in her bedroom, Jackson kicked-open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing an injury."
City attorney Mike Feuer also commented: "Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office.

"We will continue to look out for the safety of all victims of domestic violence and seek justice for the alleged crimes."

If Fiddy is found guilty of the charges, he will face up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines. He is due to appear in court to answer the charges on July 22.
However, the My Life rapper has since taken to Twitter to deny that he has been arrested, writing: "look billy jean your not my lover… I'm in the car I haven't been arrested. I'm listing to MJ#SMSAUDIO."
