50 Cent Denies Arson

Fiddy issues statement categorically disputing he started fire at his mansion...

50 Cent has respoded to accusations by his ex-girlfriend that he set fire to his own $2.5 Million mansion.

A statement from 50's advisors statement read: "Any suggestion that Mr. Jackson had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive."

The house in New York has been the centre of a legal fight but was burnt to the ground last Friday.

Shaniqua Tompkins and Fiddys 10 year old son were in the house as it caught fire but escaped unhurt.

Tomkins blamed the rapper for the blaze saying: "He tried to kill me and his own child."

According to reports, Jackson was filming on location in Louisiana at the time of the incident.

A spokesman for the star adds: "He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely."
