50 Cent Discusses Transition From Music To Movies
The rapper claims he didn't want to "alienate his music fans"...
50 Centhas discussed how it feels to have made the transition from making music to shooting movies.
Speaking to our US Team at the Sundance Film Festival, Fiddy explained: "The first time I came here, I was here as additional talent. Music. Now, to be here, to actually be a part of the filmmaking process, is great."
The Baby By Me rapper also revealed that he is taking his acting career "very seriously" and surrounds himself with directors looking to develop his acting attributes, in order for the public to accept him as an actor.
Fiddy, real name Curtis Jackson, claimed: "With each individual project, I work with someone that makes sure I'm completely prepared for it.
"I feel like I'm growing. When the projects get bigger and better, the public will start to shift and treat [it] like anyone else's progress."
He also stated that he used the name Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson to make his transition to film, so he did not "alienate his music fans" from his new venture.
The Candy Shop hitmaker previously revealed that his new album is "80 percent done" and should be released this summer. We can't wait...
