50 Cent & Dr Dre Are Being Sued Over This 13 Year Old Track...
So 50 Cent and Dr. Dre have had a fun weekend - they're being sued by a producer over their2003 track 'P.I.M.P' - yep, the one from '13' years ago - for an uncredited beat.
According to 'TMZ',Brandon Parrott sent ten tracks to Dre in back in 2001, including one called 'BAMBA', which ended up being used on 'P.I.M.P.', which hit No.5 on the Official UK Singles Chart and featured on Fiddy's massivedebut album 'Get Rich, Or Die Tryin'.'
Apparently back in 2003, Parrott signed a settlement after Aftermath Entertaiment called him admitting they didn't realise his beatsended up in the final edit of the track.
But now, thirteen years later, on hearing recent interviews, he's after compensation as hebelieves it wasn't a mistake and feels like he's been taken advantage of.
Last year, 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson III - hit the headlines when hefiled for bankruptcy as a "precaution" after a judge orderedhim to payLavonia Leviston $5 million after they determined the hip-hop star leaked a sex tape of her and another man.
Eep.
