The record was initially due for release last year and has since been reworked and re-recorded.

The album has also been delayed by Dre and Fiddy working on Eminem’s recent Relapse album.

Fiddy said: “I feel like my album is as close to perfect as it's gonna get… I'm reaching the point to where if I have to continue to write it, I'll be overkilling it. That's why I gave myself other writing assignments, like (new mixtape) War Angel.”

Curtis has worked with Dr Dre and Pollow Da Don on the album. Plus he told us about getting Timbaland to make beats for Before’.

50’ explained: “When me and Timbaland go in, a lot of times it's a compromise. He's doing things that's a little different production-wise from what I would usually do… It's fun that way to have him participate with me.”
