50 Cent squashes Jay-Z beef rumours
50 Cent claims he didn't intend to offend Jigga on new single 'Flight 187'
Rap war veteran 50 Cent today revealed that he wasn’t meaning to diss Brooklyn-born Hip-Hop king Jay-Z on his news track ‘Flight 187’. Fiddy spoke to MTV.com exclusively saying:
"It was the glasses," 50 explained about why he compared Hov to sitcom character Steve Urkel. "They saw the glasses. I didn't Photoshop glasses on him. I think Jay is really conscious of his actual moves. He does those things to make a statement in different ways to create clarity that he doesn't have to be the way people want him to be. He can do what he wants. But [I wrote the song] out of the perspective of me mentioning things I thought were interesting."
50 Cent also commented on the press whirlwind behind Hov’s new album ‘The Blueprint 3’ stating; “When it comes time for him to have companies market and promote him as a brand, he does a great job.”
No beef to see here then folks.
