50 Cent Talks Twilight

50 Cent has told MTV News why he was spotted walking the red carpet of the New Moon premiere.

 

The rap mogul and movie star said he admires the business behind the Twilight franchise success.

Fiddy explained: “I went to see the premiere of Twilight (New Moon) I thought it was amazing man, the fanfare surrounding that actual project is extreme.

 

“It’s a different audience. It’s a lot younger, kids are enjoying it, and I think it’s cool. I’m more impressed by Summit, the production company and the studio are independent.”

 

Twilight star Robert Pattinson- who plays Edward Cullen- has recently expressed an interest in launching his music career.

 

So we had to ask if 50 Cent would sign him to G Unit.

 

The rapper replied: “I don’t know if he’d want to actually sign to G-Unit! He might want to go to Universal… maybe. They’ll pay all kinds of money for him.”
