A$AP Rocky has allegedly been charged with assault after he apparently hit a fan at Jay-Z's Made in America music festival in Philadelphia last weekend.

According to TMZ, a woman has filed a police report against the F**kin' Problems rapper, accusing him of striking her while being mobbed by fans as he made his way to the stage.

It is thought that some girls were tugging at A$AP's T-shirt, causing the star to lash out and allegedly swing his arm around, striking the young mother.

His reported victim claims to have suffered whiplash in the altercation.

Rocky is said to be facing a misdemeanour simple assault charge, with the rapper choosing to make no public statement via his rep.
