Geordie Shore Lad Aaron Chalmers Explains How MMA Fighting Has Made Him A ‘Much Stronger Person’: ‘It Gives You Self-Control’ - EXCLUSIVE

KEEMON, LAD!

Tomorrow night (May 25), Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers will take tothe SSE Arena, Wembley to fight Ash Griffiths in his Bellator 200 promotional debut – and we couldn’t be prouder of our mint lad.

As he gears up for the big event, Aaron has revealed how getting involved in MMA fighting has changed him into a much stronger person, explaining that he’d suggest the sport to anyone.

Speaking exclusively to MTV ahead of his fight, Aaron admitted: “MMA has totally changed me as a person. From someone who used to go out getting drunk, (I’m) literally now dedicated to the gym.

“I’m a much stronger person, mentally and physically, and it gives you self-control.”

He added: “I don’t lose my temper as much and you can get all your aggression out in the gym. If I could suggest it to anyone, then definitely go for it.”

Aaron also brought us up to speed with everything we need to know about MMA fighting, starting with the basic rules.

He explained: “No kneeing or kicking when both (of your opponent’s) hands are on the ground. No strikes to the back of the head. No eye gauge, no hair pull, and no poking in the eye, and no grabbing the cage.”

He continued to explain some of the major do NOTs during a fight: “Don’t drop your hands otherwise you’re gonna get knocked the f*ck out.”

Aaron previously explained that his Geordie Shore family will be out to support him tomorrow night, telling MTV: “The Geordie Shore crew obviously follow us everywhere I go, especially Charlotte (Crosby). She’s me number one fan, she comes everywhere – so does Sophie (Kasaei) (sic).

“So yeah, I think Charlotte, Sophie, Scotty T and Gaz (Beadle) and I think a few others will be there. They always show support.”
