Adam Lambert has been stopped from appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America after his controversial AMAs performance.
Over 1,500 viewers complained about the American Idol runner up’s appearance on the show- which was broadcast on the same network.
Whilst playing his new single Lambert kissed a male member of his backing band and also simulated sex with a dancer.
A spokesperson for the show said: “
Given his controversial American Music Awards
performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”
Lambert said he respected the decision of the channel and told Ryan Seacrest they have “gotta do what they gotta do.”
Instead the openly gay singer will appear on the more adult The Late Show with David Letterman tonight on CBS.
