He added: "I feel honored to be asked... Even though I'm just at the start of my recording career, I hope to lend some insight as one who's been through the Idol adventure. Excited!"

Adam, who recently claimed he was not the male version of Lady GaGa, seems to have had a change of heart calling the Telephone singer 'a genius' in a recent interview.

Lambert stated to The Daily Star: "When I’m on stage I’m not thinking about the outside world; I’m in my own little special dimension. Lady GaGa is a perfect example of that, and she’s a genius."

"If you look at GaGa’s music, sonically it’s straight ahead really, really good pop music with a dance beat and great production. The songs have great hooks and beats to dance to, and her lyrics get you thinking."

He continued: "As she’s written a lot of these songs it gives her the credibility that you need as a popstar these days, but it’s her visual that makes her stand out. GaGa wrote a track on my album called Fever and I love, love, love it as it’s one of the most fun tracks to perform live,"

"If we release it as a single it would be great to get her in the video with me. We’d make our own new dance moves too."
