Adam Levine Almost Strangled By Fan On Stage, Handles It Like A Pro

When he’s not accidentally throwing microphones at fans, Adam Levine is busy trying to fight them off.

During a recent Maroon 5 gig in California, the 'Sugar' singer found himself in an awkward confrontation with a female fan when she ran on stage and tried to wrap her arms around his neck.

In video footage of the incident, the 36-year old appears visibly shaken as the women goes in for the kill, with Levine seen trying to push her away.

However, after realising that she was just an overzealous fan, The Voice USA coach soon embraces the girl, with securityrushing on stage to get rid of her.

[related]According to Digital Spy, Levine later told the crowd Anaheim Honda Centre that he was ‘terrified’ by her actions, stating: “It's just weird to be in the moment, you know? And you're singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment.

"And then the next thing you know someone's f**king in your face. It's super terrifying."

Maroon 5 fans later slammed the woman, criticising herfor making the gap between artists and fans at concerts larger.
