Adele And Beyonce Are Going To Perform At The 2017 Grammy Awards
The ladies are going head to head in the awards stakes and will both be taking to the stage to perform
Adele and Beyonce are both up for Grammy awards in the New Year and it has now been confirmed that BOTH stars will perform at the star studded awards show.
The 59th annual music awards show is due to take place on 12 February 2017 with James Corden hosting the event.
And show producer Keith Ehrlich thinks the atmosphere on the night is going to be beyond electric.
“We have every anticipation that both of them will be with us in February. We love a good horse race,” he said – adding he loves the competitive element to the awards.
“It's a fine line: We love the competition aspect of it, but it's really more -- here's the cliché -- the family of music,” he told Billboard.
Meanwhile Elle King said she is thrilled to see the ladies getting so much recognition for the 2017 awards.
“I'm extremely happy about it. I thought for a long time that [the industry] was all equal and fun, then I realized it's actually not: Some people don't take me seriously, so I had to work harder,” she said.
“So to see a lot of amazing women -- and a lot of young women -- nominated this year is very empowering. And it's about time,” she continued.
We can’t wait for more girl power in the new year.
