Adele has added yet another accolade to her haul of awards. The singer has been voted Pop Artist of the Year by the listeners of Gaydar radio.
The Someone Like You songstress grabbed 55 per cent of the votes to take the top spot, beating Lady GaGa who received just 19 per cent.
So far this year, Adele has already soared to the top of the Sunday Times Rich List for young British musicians and made Time magazine's famous list of the world's most influential people for the first time.
Along with numerous music industry gongs and nominations, Adele can now add pop gay icon to her list of trophies.
Robin Crowley, programme controller for Gaydar radio, told The Sun: "Adele has numerous Grammys and Brits, but this is the accolade she's been waiting for."
Yesterday the Rolling In The Deep star celebrated her 24th week at the top of the Official UK Album Chart with 21, breaking a record set by Eminem over the course of his six-album career.
