Adele 'Could Delay Release Of New Album'
Adele may have started working on her next album, but reports have revealed she could delay its release for a few years.
Last week, US writer Dan Wilson confirmed [uuid=fced7595-d365-459a-a1b3-ef2b696769a4]that he was working on new material[/uuid] with the mum-to-be, telling The Sun: "I am concentrating on writing as many songs as I can. Adele is in a good place.”
However, The Daily Star has reported that Adele may not release her third studio album until well after her [uuid=bba83247-d718-49f9-9bf8-8d42d11399de]first child is born[/uuid], with a source claiming: "Adele loves performing but she doesn't feel comfortable being such a high-profile celebrity.
"It all got a bit much for her last year and she wants to take a bit of time out of the fame game to be a normal mum."
They continued: "The last thing she wants is for her kid to become a celebrity baby or media commodity. Being a good mum is a lot more important to her than selling records and she's made it clear her priorities have changed now she's pregnant."
"She doesn't want to be travelling the world touring or promoting when she can be at home. Although she's already started masterminding the third album, the chances of fans getting to hear it any time soon are slim to non-existent."
Wilson - who worked with Adele on her smash-hit single Someone Like You - also said that Adele may not hit the road with her next album, with the tabloid quoting him as saying: "She doesn't need to tour. You don't have to when you're that successful."
