Adele 'Learning Belly Breathing To Beat Stage Fright'

Adele has allegedly been practising a 'belly breathing' exercise in a bid to overcome her stage fright for her performance at The Oscars on Sunday (February 24).

The 24-year old is due to make [uuid=09fab047-2109-43c7-99b4-da3f1b96930e]Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field has taught her the technique to calm her nerves.

An insider told the tabloid: "'Adele has suffered with terrible stage fright since she was 16, but now it's worse than ever.

''She knows all eyes are on her after almost a year out of the spotlight, so she needed something to help her with it."

They continued: "Ayda was the first person to tell Adele about belly breathing, and how it had helped Robbie overcome his performing anxiety in recent years.

''It's done wonders for Adele since she started getting daily sessions from a leading Indian practitioner.  She's being taught to breathe with her diaphragm instead of her chest, which is making an enormous difference.

"Adele has said it feels like she's in a whole new phase of her life where performing's concerned, and is confident she can beat her stage fright once and for all.''

The Rolling In The Deep star was also said to be seeing a hypnotherapist in Los Angeles to combat her stage fright.

Over the weekend, Adele also hit the headlines after it was claimed that she's considering a Las Vegas residency.
