There's little in this life that's better than a mound of squishy dough topped with piping hot tomato sauce and lashings of molten mozzarella, and it seems that no one knows this better than Adele.

Yep, rumour has it that the singer is so fond of a takeaway joint in her home neighbourhood of Kensington that she actually got a pizza delivered to her when she was staying 70 miles away at a country hotel.

Even better, by the time the late night delivery turned up, it had taken so long to get there that she'd reportedly fallen asleep so didn't even end up eating it.

Adele was staying at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse country hotel in Oxfordshire when she apparently called up room service and asked them to get her a pizza.

It wasn't any old pizza she fancied either and according to The Sun, the staff from the hotel obligingly made an 140 mile roundtrip just to get her one.

Unfortunately this took a while and with the pizza only making it back by 3am, she was apparently already tucked up in bed asleep.

Let's be honest, in that time it probably would've been cold anyway and no one wants that. Eugh.
