Adele Recruits Lily Allen Producer For New 'Pop' Album?
The Sun claims that the singer has roped in the help of Greg Kurstin to work on her third studio LP...
Adele's next album will reportedly have more of a 'pop sound' with the star recruiting the help of Lily Allen's US producer Greg Kurstin.
As well as teaming up with Lily on her first two albums, Kurstin has also worked with the likes Ellie Goulding on hit Burn and Take That's current No.1 single These Days.
A source told The Sun: "Greg's a genius and one of the powers behind many pop hits.
"But it's a huge surprise he's working with Adele because it suggests she's considering taking a much more pop-focussed direction for her new record."
They continued: "She's also had some serious concerns about the quality of her new album, so this is an indication that she wants a proven hit-maker on board.
"She knows the whole world is waiting for her new music and wants it to be perfect."
Last month, it was claimed that Adele has also been working with former Blur frontman Damon Albarn on her third LP, with a source telling The Sun: "Damon and Adele had a chat about her new album and they could work together in future.
"He has produced and written brilliant pop songs for Gorillaz and slower material for acts such as Bobby Womack. He has advice to give from 25 years in the business.
"Adele's exploring loads of different avenues for the music and isn't rushing anything but the album will be released next year."
We can't wait to hear it!
