Adele 'Renovating Sussex Home' Before Baby's Arrival
She's apparently planning to spend over £500k on the changes to her pad...
Adele is reportedly planning to renovate her Sussex mansion in order to build a nursery next to her bedroom.
The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker, who confirmed on Friday (29th June) that she's expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, has apparently been granted planning permission to make changes to her plush pad before the arrival of her baby.
A source told The Sun: "Adele is delighted she’s finally got the planning permission through — it couldn’t have come at a better time.
“She went through the usual tedious months of waiting for the council to grant her permission to change the house. Now it’s going to be a real dream home for her and her new family.”
The friend also stated that Adele plans to spend over £500,000 on the renovations, which include knocking down walls on the ground and first floors to add rooms.
It is thought the nursery will be a smaller room built next to her master bedroom - which will apparently take over the whole first floor once completed.
The 24-year old announced news of her pregnancy in a message to her fans on her official website, writing: "Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.
"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
