Adele Takes Grenfell Survivors To Private Cinema Screening
Over the weekend, Adele hosted a private cinema screening in London for the families affected by the tragic Grenfell Tower fire.
The global superstar organised the secret trip with The ClementJames Centre, taking the survivors to a local cinema for a showing of ‘Despicable Me 3'.
After sending anonymous invites to the victims via the charity, she brought along some life-size minions to put some smiles on the kids' faces.
E! News reports that the families had no idea that the ‘Hello’ singer would be attending, with one attendee saying “We didn’t even know there was a special guest.”
“Adele was lovely and she sat with a few of the kids in the row in front of us, chatting away… Adele made time for everyone and mingled with the kids.”
The London-born star previously visited the scene of the tragedy to attend a memorial vigil in June, and it’s clear that the victims are still on her mind and in her heart.
