Adele Waxwork Unveiled At Madame Tussauds
Star says the likeness is "amazing". Judge for yourself here...
Adele in London and Amsterdam today (July 3).
The Skyfall singer has become the latest celebrity to be immortalised by the museum, with Adele describing the likeness as "amazing."
Speaking of the sculpture in a statement, the 25-year old said: "That's scary! It's amazing - I feel a bit emotional. They've even got my chin right."
The figure has been dressed in the same back dress Adele wore for her performance of Someone Like You at the 2012 Grammy Awards, where she took home six gongs.
Madame Tussauds PR manager Nicole Fenner also noted: "Adele is quite simply one of the world's most successful, celebrated and popular performers and rightly deserves a place here at Madame Tussauds London.
"We are delighted to honour her here today - and in Amsterdam too - and we know guests will flock to stand on stage next to her. We wanted to replicate her as a dynamic performer and hopefully we've achieved that."
She added: "Certainly the response this morning has been extremely positive. She is one of the most influential and acclaimed British female artists ever and looks right at home alongside our other pop greats."
Adele joins the likes of One Direction and Emma Watson, whose wax doubles were recently welcomed to the attraction.
