Adele's '25' Knocks *NSYNC's US Record Out Of The Park After Selling 2.4million Copies
Bye bye bye, boys!
In not the most surprising news ever, Adele's 25 has broken the record for first week sales over in the US after selling a huge 2.4million copies.
But this does mean that ultimate boy band *NSYNC have had to wave bye bye bye to the record which was previously held by their second album, No Strings Attached, from way back in 2000.
15 years isn't bad though.
With three more days still to go before the week is up, Adele's third album is looking to hit the 2.9million mark, while 'Hello' is still sitting at no.1 in the singles chart.
It probably helps that the Brit singer has yet to put the album on any streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music, a clever tactic the likes of Taylor Swift have previously used.
And let's not forget the UK Official Album Chart, which Adele will not only top but is also likely to earn the title of fastest selling album ever. Not bad, ey?
