Adele is allegedly on the brink of getting engaged to boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
The Daily Star Sunday has reported Konecki is planning to pop the question to the Someone Like You singer on her birthday in May.
As well as getting hitched, the tabloid also claims that the couple have already discussed the prospect of starting a family together.
A source revealed: "Simon is so smitten that he's also talked about popping the question as soon as her birthday in May. It falls over the bank holiday weekend so he may plan a trip away and do it then,
"He knows she's 'the one' and Simon's pals have never seen him so happy. He's like a different person."
The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker is said to have called Simon her "soulmate" at the Grammy Awards earlier this month, telling people she was "living the dream."
Speaking of Adele's comments, the insider continued: "She just kept gushing about this being the best relationship she had ever been in. She even said her next album would be about falling in love and hopefully settling down after all the heartbreak.
"She joked that it would probably be a flop as everyone would stick their fingers down their throat, but she can't wait to write new tracks about how happy and loved-up she is feeling right now."
Adele is due to take to the stage at The Brit Awards tomorrow night (21st February) - marking her first live performance on British soil since having throat surgery at the end of last year.
Speaking of her performance, the 23-year said: "I always used to wonder 'Will I hit that note?' even when I wasn't ill. If I decide to go on a 200-date tour, would it happen again?
"I have a soft spot for The Brits, but this year feels really special - last year it kick-started my album into what it's become."
As well as her appearance at The Brits, Adele has also been linked to perform at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics in August.
