Adele's Rep Denies Throat Cancer Rumours
A spokesperson has insisted the reports are "100% false"...
As we previously reported, the Someone Like You singer is to have surgery on her throat after suffering a hemorrhage in her vocal chord, with the operation expected to solve her problems once and for all.
Despite her people confirming the reason for Adele's surgery, rumours surfaced that the 23-year old had actually been diagnosed with cancer - something her spokesperson has now insisted is "false."
In a statement obtained by Us Weekly, the rep claimed: "We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a haemorrhaged vocal cord. All reports regarding any other condition are 100% false."
Adele is expected to make a full recovery after the medical procedure, with the Rolling In The Deep hitmaker having to "rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments."
