Following yesterday's rumours that Rebel Wilson will be playing Adele in a biopic, the Brit singer has decided to haveher own say on the matter.

And in true tradition, been pretty blunt about the whole thing.

"I've heard there are rumours about Rebel Wilson will be playing me in a movie – let's see if that turns out to be true," Adele told the crowd at her London gig.

Adding: "They need my f***ing permission. Just because I'm plus-sized doesn't mean she's playing me."

Anyway, the whole thing stemmed from the below quotes given by a mysterious source to the Daily Star.

"Rebel has always wanted to prove she can cut it as a serious actress.

"This is going to be a huge challenge for her because Adele is a legend at the peak of her popularity," they said.

The source continued: "Rebel can't match Adele's vocal talents but she can certainly sing. And, with a little technical wizardry, she'll sound just like her in the movie."

At least let her make a few more albums before you start chronicling, yeah?
