Hold On, Is Adele Set To Headline Glastonbury This Year?
Star reported to be in talks with festival organisers...
She's been keeping a very low profile in recent months, barely making an appearance at her local corner shop let alone playing any gigs.
And despite the 26-year-old previously declaring that she'd be terrified of playing a festival, organisers Emily and Michael Eavis are claimed to be determined to secure her services.
"Most of the acts have been booked for Glasto but Michael and daughter Emily Eavis are still trying to get Adele for Saturday night," a mole told The Mirror.
"She has been on their wishlist for a few years now. Negotiations are ongoing but this is the closest they have got to signing her.
"Several bands that have been booked for Saturday have been told they could be performing before her. It's created quite a buzz."
The organisers were staying tight-lipped when contacted directly by the tabloid, saying only: "We look forward to announcing the line-up in the late spring."
Adele has not played a proper gig since 2011, when the Adele Live tour came to an end in Glasgow.
