Akon Pleads Guilty
The star admits harassment after an incident at a gig and will do community service
Akon has pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment after throwing a teenager off the stage at one of his gigs last year.
The Lonely singer injured Abby Rosa as he threw a boy off the stage and hit her at a stadium near New York in June 2007.
Akon has been fined $250 (we're guessing he can afford it) and will have to do 65 hours community service.
The Senegalese star refused to comment as he left the court.
The girl was injured when a fan threw something on stage and Akon demanded that he be brought to the stage.
According to witnesses he then put the boy on his shoulders and threw him into the audience.
