Alexa Goddard Signs To Jay Z's Roc Nation Label
Rising star says she embarrassed herself in front of Jigga when meeting him for the first time...
Alexa Goddard has signed a record deal with Roc Nation.
The singer - who has accumulated over 40 million views on her YouTube page - has signed a five-album deal with company, which was co-founded by Jay Z and Live Nation back in 2008.
Speaking of her first meeting with Jigga, the rising star told The Sun: "I went up and introduced myself to Jay Z; I can't quite believe I did that.
"Then I met him the night after at another thing and he said, 'Oh, you're the one who had a lot to say for herself', which was a bit embarrassing, but he was joking."
Goddard joins the likes of Rita Ora, Calvin Harris and Rihanna on Roc Nation's roster, with her debut single Marilyn due for release in the UK on July 27.
