Alexandra Burke has become the latest celeb to fall victim to internet trolls - with the pop star receiving death threats via social networking site Twitter.
The 23-year-old was sent abusive messages after announcing the launch of her new range of Lip Blooms lipsticks at a party in London.
Twitter users greeted the announcement with death threats and a warning that bricks would be thrown at her on the night.
A source told The Mirror: "Alex’s mum was particularly upset by the horrible messages so she decided it was best to contact the police.
"They went down to the venue before the party started, and Alex had a team of security around with her all night to make sure that she stayed safe."
