Alicia Keys has given birth to a boy in a New York hospital after going into labour a month early. The proud parents have named him Swizz Beatzhinted at the birth on Mary J. Blige then confirmed the happy news: "I’m so excited 2 congratulate my brother @therealswizzz and @Aliciakeys on their new, baby, boy!!!!!!!"

The couple married off the Frenchisland of Corsica in July. It’s Alicia’s first baby and Beatz’ fourth.

As if that’s not enough to keep Alicia busy, the new mum has just announced that her next single will be Wait Til You See My Smile, the fifth release from The Element Of Freedom.

The No One singer also announced she is inviting fans to make their own music video for the track. The winning clip will be the song’s official UK video.
