When All Saints cancelled a gig at Londons G-A-Y at the last minute on Saturday night, promoters held a spoof one minutes silence for the struggling band.

Initially the Saints were booed by the crowd when a note from the band was read out at the venue. It read: "Hi Guys! We're so sorry we couldn't make the show on Saturday night.

"We hoped to be feeling much better but Shaz had been really ill most of the week and Nic came down with a bad sore throat towards the end of the week. We hope you had a great time anyway. We'll see you all soon. Lots of Love, All Saints."

The promoter then asked fans to hold a mock one-minute silence, in a none-too-subtle dig at rumours the band have been dropped by their label following their comeback albums flop. Ouch!
