Amanda Bynes' Lawyer: "She's Fine"
Richard Hutton has defended his client, insisting she has 'no problems'...
Amanda Bynes' lawyer has issued a statement regarding the star, insisting that "she's fine."
Richard Hutton - who is representing the Easy A actress over an alleged DUI charge - has claimed recent reports about Amanda have been exaggerated.
The 27-year old has been in the headlines after she was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana at her NYC apartment and throwing a bong out of her window - with Bynes strongly denying the charges.
Speaking to People, Hutton claimed: "I think Amanda's fine. I have no problems with her whatsoever. She's a fine client.
''Every time I've talked to her, I've had nice, attorney-client normal relations with her.''
When asked about the drug allegations, Hutton said: "The New York case doesn't seem like much of a case, really. I mean, come on. Even if you believe everything you hear, it's something that amounts to virtually nothing.
"And it's my understanding there's not much evidence to back that case up. There's no physical evidence to back it up. I understand there's no marijuana, no pipe.''
The She's The Man star continues to deny the accusations, insisting on Twitter she's "never had a bong in [her] life" and has even threatened to sue the NYPD for sexual harassment during her arrest - with the authorities finding "no evidence" to support her claims.
