Amanda Bynes Psychiatric Hold Extended
Troubled celeb could be detained for another two weeks...
A judge in California has granted a request from Amanda Bynes' parents to have their daughter's involuntary stay in psychiatric care extended by up to two weeks.
E! News has reported that the troubled former child star, who was originally scheduled to be released yesterday, will now be held longer.
We told you yesterday how her parents Rick and Lynn Bynes had applied for a conservatorship over her personal and financial affairs, in the wake of recent history of highly erratic behaviour.
Bynes, 27, was held earlier this week after apparently starting a fire in a stranger's driveway.
E! also claims that her parents are currently caring for her pet dog, which has been her constant companion in recent weeks.
