Amanda Bynes' lawyer has confirmed that she has left rehab.

The She's The Man actress was [uuid=12d80445-6cd3-409f-9e24-6dc42f151916]placed under psychiatric hold[/uuid] in July and has been receiving treatment for several months.

Bynes was first sent to UCLA Medical Centre before [uuid=454bef0f-8707-4412-9c2a-e410fb117a03]being transferred[/uuid] to a rehab facility in Malibu, which offers further mental health treatment.

Her family attorney Tamar Arminak has since confirmed that the 27-year old was discharged this week into the custody of her [uuid=1ebf4552-f106-49d8-981b-33beeb27e5ce]mother Lynn.[/uuid]

He told People: "Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery.

"Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

Arminak went on to confirm that Bynes would continue her treatment as an outpatient, adding that she is "very happy to re-establish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared".

He revealed that Amanda is now planning to go to college to study fashion, with the hope of starting up her own clothing line.
