Here's Your First Look At Amber Heard In Aquaman

With filming well underway on the Aquaman movie, director James Wan has hit up Twitter with a cool new teaser shot, giving us a first look at Amber as Mera. And DAMN is she rocking that Atlantean style!

Aquaman’s queen in the comics, Lady Mera will make her big-screen bow in the new movie, which will cover the sea-bound couple’s burgeoning love story. On first look, Heard’s take on the character seems pretty faithful to the comics, complete with flowing red locks and skin-tight green costume.

So does this mean we’re likely to see Jason Momoa don Aquaman’s famous green and yellow tights at some point? We’re not banking on it, but given Mera’s outfit choice, it might not be such a stretch after all…

Directed by Wan and co-starring Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe and Dolph Lundgren, Aquaman will open in the UK on 21 December 2018. And if you can’t wait that long, you can look forward to a first meeting with Aquaman when Justice League hits our screens on 17 November 2017.
