American Idol Execs 'Set To Axe Mariah Carey'

SPOILER ALERT: Rumours of judging reshuffle emerge as four perform...

American Idolbosses are already thinking about finding a replacement for Mariah Carey for next year's show.
Nicki Minaj could be facing the chop too - because she's been TOO exciting, putting off some viewers with her OTT antics.
The rumours emerged as the judges got tough with the final four contestants, giving fan favourites Kree Harrison and Candice Glover a particularly rough ride.
Candice, who has delivered the most-outstanding performance of the season so far, was asked by Nicki: "Who is your market? … I don't want you to get lost in that old-fashioned bracket!"
And Randy Jackson added harshly, but perhaps fairly: "It can't always sound like you're in church."
And Nicki almost made Kree cry when she pounced after one song and told her: "That is NOT a top four-worthy performance.
"Everybody can blow smoke up your a**hole but that wasn't it!"
And rather than arguing with Nicki, the other judges agreed that the bookies' favourite needs to up her game.
However Angie Miller won praise for her rendition of Jessie J's Who Are You - and drew the most impressive plaudit of the night from judge Keith Urban for her performance of jazz standard Cry Me A River.
He told her it was "mystical and celestially powerful".
Amber Holcomb divided opinion with her rendition of the absurdly overblown 1960s hit MacArthur Park.
One contestant will be voted off the show this evening in the US.
