American Idol: Final Three Perform In Semi-Final
SPOILER ALERT: Kree, Candice and Angie sing for a spot in the final...
American Idolhave sung for their chance of a place in next week's final.
Kree Harrison, Candice Glover and Angie Miller all performed three tracks in last night's semi-final - one picked by record exec Jimmy Iovine, one picked by the judges and one picked by the show's producers.
And the critical verdict across the pond seems to be that the trio are the closest matched semi-finalists for some years.
Guest mentor Iovine also shared the honours among the three ladies - giving them one round each.
The episode saw each of the three return to their hometown to visit old friends, former schools and employers - and to perform to their staunchest supporters of course.
But it was probably Candice who notched-up the performance of the night - getting a standing ovation from all four judges as she closed the show with Somewhere from the West Side Story soundtrack.
We told you earlier this week how Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are reported to be on the wish list for the panel next year.
