J. Lo & Steven Tyler Confirmed For American Idol

Simon Cowell, Ellen Degeneres and Kara Dioguardi all left the massive show this year with only Randy Jackson remaining on the panel.

 

He’ll now be joined by Tyler and J. Lo as the show is revamped and they seek to assess the singing talent Stateside.

 

Cowell has left the show to launch X Factor US next year, with Cheryl Cole rumoured to be joining him.

 

J.Lo is reportedly picking up a £7.7 million pay cheque for agreeing to be a judge on the show for the upcoming tenth season.

 

At a press conference yesterday, she said: “We're looking for the next Michael Jackson… I feel really lucky to be here and I'm really excited to see who we find”

 

Previous stars to win American Idol include Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks.
