According to Jennifer Lopez is expected to make a comeback - with the magazine adding that she's keen for Braun to join her.
It is thought that negotiations with Scooter have stalled as he wants to manage the eventual Idol winner - despite creator Keith Urban currently the only one announced to return.
Katy Perry producer Dr. Luke, Kanye West and Lopez's former flame Diddy have all been linked to a judging role.
Diddy recently denied claims that he refused the job as he didn't want to sit beside Jennifer, with a rep for the music mogul insisting those reports were "not true."
Meanwhile, Deadline has alleged that Randy could be back as a guest mentor as Jimmy Iovine is leaving the show.
