It’s Rat Pack week and he sung My Funny Valentine…
American Idol.
It was Rat Pack night on Wednesday on the show and his version of My Funny Valentine didn’t go down well.
Judge Randy Jackson called it 'pitchy' while Kara DioGuardi thought there was an emotional connection missing. However Simon and Paula Abdul liked Matt’s version.
Surprisingly hot favourite Adam Lambert- who sang Feeling Good- was also in the bottom three this week along with Kris Allen. They were both in the bottom three for the first time.
Jamie Foxx was this week’s mentor to the contestants while Natalie Cole and Taylor Hicks also played live.
Next week sees the contestants tackle head banging classics- as its rock week with Slash as mentor!
