Boyband singer American Idol during the week, surprising The Wanted [uuid=879f8f8f-4ac6-41fa-a852-b67948bd0ffa]took to the stage on the US talent show[/uuid] on Thursday and it was during their performance of Glad You Came that Max made his move on the Latino star.
An insider told The Sun: "Max intended to go straight for J-Lo when the band moved to the front of the stage.
"He didn't plan to give her a kiss after spinning her chair around - he just got caught up in the moment. She took it all in good spirits."
Clearly Max's cheeky charm worked wonders though because J-Lo granted him a picture opportunity after the show, while the rest of the boys only managed a standard group shot that included judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.
Max later took to Twitter, writing: "One of the best days of my life...thanks america!!"
Whether Max's missus, Michelle Keegan, will share his enthusiasm remains to be seen.
