Adele has paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse, stating that the Russell Brand even penned a [uuid=c4ee5466-a4f0-4df9-a5f3-a4d66bfd2e0c]Katy Perry, has also commented on the star's death, stating that while she is "really sad", she's grateful Russell was able to combat his own addictions.
Speaking to Good Morning America, the Firework singer explained: "My husband, who's been clean and sober for almost nine years, you know, I see him working [on)] a [sobriety] programme and working on himself every single day and I see how much work it takes to be clean and sober when you have addiction on your hands,"
The California Gurl added: "So it gave me a real gratefulness for my husband, who got clean when he was 27."
According to The Mirror, Winehouse's father Mitch is hoping to organise a memorial concert for his daughter and wants to ask some of music's greats to perform.
A source told the newspaper: "There will be no shortage of people wanting to sing. She struck a chord with so many. It’s an idea at the moment but hopefully the balls can be set in motion over the next few months when it isn’t so raw.”
Tragic Amy's funeral is taking place this afternoon (26th July), with reports suggesting the Love Is A Losing Game singer will be cremated in Golders Green, North West London.
