Winehouse Denied Entry To US

Authorities wont give her a visa to appear at the Grammy Awards

Amy Winehouse will not be travelling to the US anytime soon after her request for a Visa was turned down.

The drug-addict singer was to play live at the Grammy Awards this Sunday where she is also nominated for six statues but now cannot.

Reports now say Wino will still perform but via a satellite link-up.

Her spokesman admitted she was disappointed at the ruling but that it will give her more time to kick her drug problems.

It was the US embassy in London that turned down the Love Is A Losing Game singers request to work in the States.

Despite her well publicised problems Amy does not have any drug-convictions in the UK but was fined for possession of cannabis while on tour in Norway.

Its thought this effected the decision not to give her a visa.
