Winehouse's Dad: "GaGa Can Give Me £10M To Play Amy"

Mitch is apparently considering Lady G for the role, but at a price...

Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has revealed he would consider casting Lady GaGa to play his daughter in a biopic - if she pays him £10million.
The former taxi driver - who visited Amy's former home in Camden on [uuid=4ee32f11-fab5-4feb-9ffb-6188a34be785]the first anniversary of her death[/uuid] earlier this week - has told The Daily Star that despite GaGa's rumoured interest in the role, he's not keen on the idea.
Mitch told the tabloid: "If GaGa gives me £10million I will consider it.

“I think it might be advisable to get an English actress, although GaGa has got the look about her. It is something which we might think about.”
Back in December, the 60-year old [uuid=359df5bc-021b-4f16-b98a-3625eeaa837e]addressed reports suggesting[/uuid] he had backed the Poker Face star to play Winehouse if a film about the late singer was to be made, telling The Mirror: "I have heard that Lady GaGa is keen to play Amy in a film.
"I don't know what her English accent is like but it's not just an English accent she would have to perfect - it's an English-Cockney-Jewish accent so she better start practising now. But she would be great."
Mitch seems to have changed his tune after previously dismissing any talk of a film about Amy's life, stating: “It would hardly be a biopic without the music and we’d never allow the songs to be released.”
