Kristen Wiig Confirmed For Anchorman Sequel
Bridesmaids star rumoured to be playing Steve Carrell's love interest...

Director Adam McKay has revealed on Twitter that the Bridesmaids star is signed up for Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
He wrote: "Just found out Kristen Wiig officially on board for Anchorman 2. Cannonball!"
Wiig is expected to play the love interest for Brick Tamland, Steve Carrell's character.
Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, David Koechner and Paul Rudd are all lined-up to reprise their roles from the 2004 original.
The sequel is set for release in September.
