Steve Carrell: Anchorman 2 Has Started Shooting

Steve Carrellhas revealed that shooting has already started on comedy sequel Anchorman 2.

Speaking to Jay Leno on US television, Carrell discussed his character Brick Tamland - and confirmed that he had already been in front of the cameras for the movie follow-up.

Asked how Brick would evolve, he replied: "He will not evolve. He will devolve.

"My hope with the movie was that it's going to be exactly the same ... Nobody changes."

Kristen Wiig has reportedly been cast as Carrell's love interest in the new film.
