YOUR FAVOURITE MTV SHOWS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON PARAMOUNT+

This New Stream Service Is Like Netflix For Mobile Games And It Changes EVERYTHING

You can play unlimited games on your phone without having to use up your storage space with new service, Hatch. Here's all the details.

A new service has launched which is basically a Netflix-type way to play the biggest new games on your phone!

Hatch - a new subscription games-on-demand service for mobile gaming - has launched an open beta, featuring titles by Square Enix, Rovio, Ubisoft, and Bandai Namco.

It works in the same way music streaming does: because you stream the games rather than download them to your phone, that means you never have to worry about them taking up the storage space on your phone.

The beta, available for Android devices in the UK and Ireland, offers "high quality, premium games" from more than 100 developers and publishers, including games like Rayman Fiesta Run, Hitman GO, Pac-man CE DX, Hitman Sniper, and Monument Valley.

"Currently more than 100 games are live on Hatch, and all are premium, full-featured experiences, with no in-app purchases and no limits," explains the press release. "Players can clip and share short gameplay moments as they happen, both to their personal Hatch feeds and to other social networks. Users can also play Hatch games together with their friends and family in real time with voice chat.

"The service’s cloud-based architecture also means that no games are ever actually downloaded – they are played over the Internet – freeing up local storage space on mobile devices. Bandwidth usage varies by game, but is significantly less than HD video streaming."

Hatch is currently free to access, although you should expect ads. There are plans for an optional paid monthly subscription that adds features and removes ads is planned, but not yet available.
