Angelina Jolie To Direct Poaching Movie

Actress turning filmmaker to tell true-life story of African wildlife conservation...

Angelina Jolie is set to step behind the camera again to direct a drama about big game poaching in Kenya.

The 39-year-old star has been confirmed to be helming Africa, which tells the real-life story of conservationist Richard Leakey's battle with poachers in the 1980s.

Forrest Gump screenwriter Eric Roth is handling the script while she'll be re-teaming with acclaimed cinematographer Roger Deakins - who handled the shooting on her movie Unbroken.

Production is expected to begin as soon as Jolie has got her current project, By The Sea, in the can.

That film will see Ange reunited on screen with hubby Brad Pitt for the first time since Mr And Mrs Smith.

Unbroken is slated for release at Christmas this year.
